Liege Fighter

These impressively tall birds can get over 30" tall and easily over 12 lbs. with feet comparable to a turkey. They have earned the nickname "Hawk Killer" as they are known to protect their flock from even the most fearsome predators. Despites their intimating name and nickname these birds are extremely friendly to humans, and love being hand fed treats. This is a breed I love because of their beautiful looks and friendly temperament. When free ranging they will follow loyally behind anywhere you go. Keep your car doors closed as they will hop right inside without hesitation. On multiple occasions I have left my car open, and returned to find it full of chickens.
